Blogmas – Day Two

5 books that make you feel Christmassy:

  1. Christmas with Billy and Me

This is one of my favourite ones to read around Christmas, and it’s probably self-explanatory! It’s written by one of my favourite authors, and I always normally pick up one of hers to read when I’m in a good reading mood. Reading about some of my favourite characters getting ready for Christmas, just helps me to feel more Christmassy. And it has a lovely cute ending too.

  1. Harry Potter

This goes with the films too! I don’t know why, but I know there are people out there who feel the same way I do. Something about it gets me into the spirit, all of the snow and the magic, the characters coming together at Christmas. I mean it’s just amazing anyway. But at Christmas it makes me feel extra specially happy.3

  1. Little Women

I love reading this book around Christmas time, it has some special morals in it and some important Christmas scenes in! All of the characters were my favourite when I read it for the first time, and I can’t wait to pick it up again soon! I remember receiving it as a present at Christmas and being obsessed with reading classics.1934

  1. Grimm’s FairyTales

There’s just something about snuggling up, drinking hot chocolate with some biscuits, with fairy tales in my lap. It makes me feel so special and magical, especially then when it starts to snow and it’s cold and wintery outside. I love reading such wonderful fantasy tales.

  1. I let you go

This is a bit of a random one because it doesn’t have anything to do with Christmas, but I read it around Christmas time and couldn’t stop thinking about it last year! I’m still confused over the ending, and I end up going around in circles trying to think. I got really sucked up into this book, which is perfect when it’s cold outside and you just want to get lost in a good book.
