Monday Book Tag

The book colour tag

  • Purple – historical fiction. The book thief, by Marcus Zusak.

For some reason, I can just remember that Mum bought me this and I really loved and admired it. I think that it was one of the first serious, adult books that I read and I felt very much grown up when I read it.

  • Blue – calming book. Pride & Prejudice, by Jane Austen

My favourite book! Which is why it is so calming for me, and one of the first books I turn to.

  • Green – adventure. The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins

One of the first series that I fell in love with, and it made me fall in love with adventures. It made me really want to be a part of something crazy and dangerous like that, well not exactly like that, but something with adventure.

  • Yellow – fantasy. Caraval, by Stephanie Garber

I loved this when I read it, it was like being sucked into a completely different world and it reminded me how much I loved reading.

  • Red – romance. Atonement, by Ian McEwan

I couldn’t really think of anything for romance, but I remember liking the relationships that were shown in this novel. Especially the way that the younger sister perceived the love growing with her older sister.

  • White – magical. Harry Potter, by J.K Rowling

I mean this one is obvious!
